PHAM HAI QUANG, MBA – Member of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer:
Mr. PHAM earned his Bachelor in Business – Finance at Ryerson University in oronto, Ontario, Canada. While attending school, Mr. PHAM was also working in commercial and residential real estate management in the Province of Ontario. After earning his MBA, Mr. PHAM worked at Investors Group, the first financial service company to introduce mutual fund products to the Canadian market, as a Financial Consultant.
In 2017, Mr. PHAM returned to Vietnam in order to work on a number of capital investment projects. One of which is a tourism resort on Cat Ba Island and another is the Xuan Cau Lach Huyen Industrial Park project in Hai Phong City. As one of the founders of BINRA, since 2018, Mr. PHAM has been focusing on the deployment of biotechnology and the associated biotech manufacturing complex for related products. Mr. PHAM remains passionate in helping others going into the growing market of Vietnam, especially those who wish to develop advanced manufacturing capabilities in this market.
LA MINH TUAN, MBA – Chairman of Capital Seaweed Group:
Mr. LA is The Chairman of Capital Seaweed Group (CSGroup) and directly overseeing the strategy development and execution for the group. Prior to founding CSGroup, Mr. LA was the Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ngoc Nghia Group, a leader in advanced product packaging and textile which eventually expanded into food, real estate and other industries.
Mr. LA dedicated significant periods of time for education in Japan and establishment of a global network of business and technology partners in all regions of the globe. His extensive experience in investment, technology, production, marketing and sale has been fundamental to the success of NNG and CSGroup. Mr. LA continues his dedication to expand the business community globally, and welcomes those who wish to enter the market of Vietnam with open arms.
PARK DONG CHAN, PhD – Member of the Board of Directors & Chief Technology Officer:
Mr. PARK earned his PhD in Genetic Engineering at Daegu National University of Education in South Korea. He is fundamental in bringing highly advanced biological materials and technology to the market in Vietnam. Through Mr. PARK, BINRA has a strong access to a large network of experts in many different fields at globally reputable academic institutions.
Mr. PARK’s expertise and experience has proven tremendously valuable in the deployment of food manufacturing facilities. His net work also allows the acquisition of high quality OEM/ODM partners for our clients in Vietnam.
NGUYEN MANH HOANG – Member of the Board of Directors and Chief Risk Officer:
Prior to joining BINRA, Mr. NGUYEN MANH HOANG was the Internal Auditor in charge of Risk Management for Vietjet Aviation. This was after he had spent two decades in the banking industry. First, he was an Instructional Design Specialist for the International Finance Corporation, a branch of the World Bank in HCMC from 1999 to 2002. Then, he began working in the capacity of a Human Resource Director and Investor Relations Director at An Binh Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ABBANK), while being responsible for the HCMC Office of ABBANK Asset Management (AMC) as the Branch Director. Mr. NGUYEN also had several years working at Unilever Vietnam and Pioneer & Transmecco Co., Ltd. in human resource capacity.
Deals in the market of Vietnam have unique characteristics and related problems. At BINRA, Mr. NGUYEN has been able to employ his extensive experience and diligence in managing potential risk factors often associated with large capital investments for the clients.
DO THAI HIEP, MBA – Member of the Board of Directors:
Mr. DO earned his Bachelor Degree in International Business and MBA in Hospitality and Tourism Management in London, U.K. After returning to his home in Hai Phong City, Mr. Do spent several years working in the Office of Haiphong Economic Zone Authority as an Official responsible for overseeing the development of many industrial projects on behalf of the provincial government. Following up with these responsibilities, Mr. Do then worked for a number of years at the Management Board of Urban Construction and Development of Hai Phong City. In these capacities, he was able to acquire extensive experience in land acquisitions for industrial purposes according to development mandates of the government, as well as knowledge in logistics and large-scale project deployments.
After leaving the public sector, Mr. DO founded his own logistic
and consulting company in order to help other businesses develop
in the above area.
NGUYEN BA PHAT – Chief Industrial Design and Project Manager:
Mr. NGUYEN was one of the key technical personnel at Ngoc Nghia Group. He acquired much of his experience in the design and construction of manufacturing facilities while working on a significant number of projects for NNG and its clients. Many of these facilities are factories for the production of PET packaging and containers, others are for consumer products.
At BINRA, Mr. NGUYEN is responsible for overseeing the design and construction of the smart-farm system and the biotech manufacturing complex. These facilities allow BINRA to produce the next generation of food, supplements, functional food, hydrogen nanobubble and trace mineral water, other fast-moving consumer goods, as well as pharmaceutical and cosmeceutical materials.
